Aaron Baldacchino has over twelve years of experience in risk and compliance within the insurance industry. He graduated in Insurance and holds an M.A. in Financial Services Law from the University of Malta, with a dissertation focusing on the Solvency II Directive. He is a postgraduate of the Institute of Risk Management and an advanced rimap©️ Certified Risk Management Professional by FERMA.

Aaron worked at WTW, where he contributed to the implementation of Solvency II regulations for various insurance companies. He gained extensive experience managing insurers, delivering proportional solutions to captives and SMEs, and serving as the Risk Manager for several insurers. He also led the risk management functions of the broader European team. In 2020, he joined a data-driven insurance start-up, building its risk management framework and holding interim compliance officer responsibilities.

In 2023, Aaron joined Artex Risk Solutions as Head of GRC, supporting client service delivery in governance, risk, and compliance, and managing Risk and Compliance functions for clients.
